Polypropylene Capacitors

Polypropylene capacitors are suitable for applications where accuracy in capacitance level is of prime importance. Known for their stable electrical attributes, these PP capacitors have excellent insulation characteristics, low volume and high dielectric constant rate. Dielectric loss rate of these capacitors is low. To design electrode and dielectric of these capacitors, metalized PP film has been chosen. The film is later covered with non combustible type tape and has been sealed with epoxy resin to avoid high temperature. Polypropylene capacitors possess strong self healing attributes and their electrical characteristics deserve special mention. These capacitors are used as integral parts of home appliances and AC and DC circuits.
